1st round TOtaaL Kata. Aka 6 techniques full contact on the pillow, 3 hand / arm and 3 leg techniques. then AO. Referee asks for Hantei (decision). Choice of corner referees: Aka, AO or undecided.

then the 2nd round follows. Aka and AO simultaneously run their own kata.

The Chief Referee will appoint the winner. in case of a tie (Hikawaka) a 3rd round follows
